Sovryn Consulting ("we", "us", "our") operates sovryn.com.au. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It covers this website, the Sovryn Strategic Diagnostic™, and our enquiry and booking forms.
What we collect
- Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, company and website, when you complete the diagnostic, a form, or a booking.
- Business information — answers you give in the diagnostic, which can include revenue ranges, staff numbers, payroll cost estimates, energy spend, AI spend and how your business operates.
- Technical information — standard web logs and privacy-preserving analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics), such as pages visited and approximate location. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Why we collect it
- To generate and email your diagnostic report.
- To respond to enquiries and manage bookings.
- To send follow-up material related to what you asked for. You can opt out at any time.
- To improve our services and this website.
How we store and share it
Your information is held in our customer relationship system (GoHighLevel) and our internal records. GoHighLevel processes data on servers that may be located outside Australia (including the United States); by submitting a form you consent to that transfer. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except:
- Service providers who help us operate (CRM, email, scheduling, website hosting), under their own security obligations.
- Sovryn Energy, only where your diagnostic answers indicate an energy saving opportunity and only to make that offer to you.
- Where the law requires it.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep diagnostic and enquiry records while there is a genuine business reason to hold them, then delete or de-identify them. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure; if you prefer not to submit details online, contact us directly.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time. Email team@sovryn.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Cookies
This site uses no advertising cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics collects anonymised usage data without identifying individual visitors. The diagnostic temporarily saves your in-progress answers in your own browser's session storage so a page reload doesn't lose them; it clears when you finish or close the tab.
Complaints
If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, contact us first at team@sovryn.com.au and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date above.
